He came to America with his parents and two younger brothers on “Argo”, which sailed from Havre, France, and arrived in New York on 26 Jul 1843. They came to Norway Township, Racine County, Wisconsin. Civil War: Post war: He was married on 9 May 1865 to Anna Jensdatter Hunnekilen (1839-1906). Six children. He died 18 Jun 1903?
